i use bootfix 3.0 and it fixed my main HDD, and a secondary HDD. and no issues since. so I was wondering if i could use that to boot from my CD drive and install a bootfix. or any other boot cd which would install bootfix or maybe autorun bootfix in a live mode. i tried that with bootpro. ran bootinv. didnt work.
After the boot repair finishes successfully, shutdown your computer, remove the USB and boot again. For me it booted successfully but added two additional lines in the Grub screen. Something which was not of importance to me as I was happy to see the system booting normally again.
